For a Humanized Exploration of Mineral Resources in Mozambique” was the theme that gathered around 100 people on the 3rd and 4th of the current month in the Tete Province, several civil society organizations, communities affected by mining, governmentauthorities, international guests among others, in the second national advocacy forum on the development of mineral resource exploitation and its impact on the quality of life ofMozambicans named NKUTANO.

Organized by the Civil Society Platform on Natural Resources and Extractive Industry, NKUTANO served as an opportunity to discuss and reflect on Resettlements, Communities’ Benefits; Women and Mining; Social and environmental impact of Mining, and citizens were heard to share lessons, problems, questions and doubts. There was also room for clarification and comments, solutions and challenges for sustainable and inclusive development in the exploitation of mineral resources in Mozambique.
